Jury: 'CE-Line Can Make a Global Impact with Real-Time Water Analysis'

CE-Line is a scale-up that enables real-time laboratory analysis of nutrient levels in irrigation and drainage water. This Emmeloord-based company developed a plug-and-play measuring system, allowing growers to easily and automatically dose nutrients in their water optimally. The hardware system connects to the grower's existing water supply. This makes it relatively easy to get started, allowing growers to change nutrients themselves to achieve an optimal nutrient composition.

Jury's Verdict: CE-Line:

The jury is impressed with the automatic measuring system that allows growers to measure nutrients inline within their water system. This opens up a new dimension of data for plant growth, automated greenhouse control, research, and water quality management, the latter of which is of increasing importance. The jury noted that CE-Line also has a strong vision of the impact this system can have globally and the potential for scaling it up. A truly future-proof technology for horticulture that can have an impact globally, and beyond the sector as well. Hats off!
